The Daulat is a newly opened boutique hotel along Madras Street. The hotel is housed within a conserved building that has been lovingly restored and termed the Daulat (Persian for royalty). It is aptly named for it was built in 1912 by Kader Sultan Marican, the Cattle King of Singapore.
